34 weeks, 5 days!!

We had another check-up already (just how the timing and appointments worked out).  We go in to see the OB once a week now that we're up to 34 weeks.  =) 

Baby boy was cooperating this time and we got a great picture of him.  Baby girl had her chance a few days ago and decided she didn't want her picture taken this time.

Everything is still going well.  BP is good, as is my blood count and babies' HR.  So, we're just waiting.  The only time we don't want the babies to come is that first week of July (my OB is out of the office (her birthday week) and my Wolf family will all be in Arizona for Tyler's wedding).  I think the twins will hold out till after all that - they seem very content to just chill and 'cook' longer for now.  =)

Just for fun - these are a few carrots from my garden!  I was so proud . . . although as you can see, some are pretty tiny.  I've gotten two handfuls of cherry tomatoes so far too and lots more are starting to ripen - Yum!!

34 Weeks!!

Things are going well - there really isn't anything that we can complain about. 

We had a growth sono this last Friday and the twins look great!  Everyone is growing well.  Moving around a bunch too!  Joe has been able to feel them moving more often recently; it's fun to weatch his face when they kick while he's feeling. 

The latest stats are:
Baby Boy - 5lbs, 12 oz ~ about 18" long
Baby Girl - 5lbs, 8oz ~ about 17 1/2" long

Here is a picture of our Baby Girl.  Our Baby Boy was being shy and wouldn't show his face this time . . . little bugger  =)

I'm feeling pretty good, just getting bigger and bigger.  But everything has been good.  =)  My OB told me that I'm her "model twin pregnancy".  She has two other twin moms due around the same time. 

We're considered full-term this Friday (35 weeks), but everything is closed up pretty tight and no signs on labor or contractions yet.  I do get Braxton Hicks at times, but nothing consistent.  So we're thinking that the twins will arrive more like early July.  The latest my OB will let me go is 38 weeks (just due to size and such), which is about July 13th.  So anytime really.  The nursery is all put together - I'm just finishing washing all the clothes and blankets and such.  It's been fun to go through everything a second time.  Dreaming about the little ones wearing the different outfits - so much fun!

Joe is doing well too.  Adjusting to the idea of being a Dad still.  =)  We're hoping to get some maternity pictures done this weekend.  So we'll be sure to share them as we can.

We're both super excited (and super nervous at times) and are so looking forward to meeting the twins soon!

32 weeks!!

We had another appointment this past Friday and everything is going well!  The twins looks great!  Heart rates are perfect and they're moving all around, particularly when it's time for lunch.  It's my signal that it is time to eat.  =) 

We were able to get a couple good profile pictures this time.  =)  They're starting to get a little more smooshed in there so no 3D pics (they came out really weirdly).

Here is our baby girl!  She's looking up and to the left and her little hand is right there by her mouth  =)

And here's our baby boy - he's looking the same direction.  His nose is almost touching his placenta.  =)

Here I am at 32 weeks - carrying around quite a bit of baby  =)  Feeling pretty good but the feet swell pretty fast if I'm on my feet much or don't drink enough water.  =)


Hope you enjoy the updates!  We're pertty much ready . . . at least I think so.  Getting more and more excited to meet them in about a month.  Oh, we're hoping to make it to June 22nd at least (35 weeks, full term for twins) but we won't really go past July 13th (which is 38 weeks).
